Booking Conditions

1. The rates provided for you on this website are available only through Tiger Travel Ltd . Please do not call the suppliers concerned as they will not be able to offer you the same rates. All bookings made on this website are FREE to make - we have no booking fees or credit card fees. ALL PRICES ON THIS WEBSITE ARE IN NEW ZEALAND DOLLARS AND INCLUDE GST (TAX)-CURRENTLY 12.5%.

2. Once the you enter your booking and credit card details you will receive a receipt of payment advice followed within the next 24 hours (48 hours for some hotels and if booking made on a Saturday or Sunday the following Monday)with your voucher confirming the reservation has been processed. If for some reason we are unable to secure your request we will get back to you with an alternative. If you decide the alternative is not to what you want then you may cancel the booking.

3. If you wish to cancel your booking after the voucher has been issued, a cancellation fee of NZ$65 per reservation will apply for accommodation and rental cars, if however you wish to cancel and rebook at a later date no fee applies.Once documentation has been issued for your accommodation or rental car there is a fee of NZ$45 per amendment. Any changes made before the documents have been issued is done free for first amendment, after documents have been issued there is a fee of NZ$45. Campervan,motorhome and Interisland Ferry changes are done free of charge - an outright cancellation of your ferry crossing incurs a NZ$45 charge.Additional charges may apply from our various suppliers for late cancellations and/or no shows and rates are subject to cahnge withour notice. 

4. Please note each property/operator listed has its own cancellation rules and any charges we incur as the resuult of you the client cancelling will be passed on.Travel Insurance is recommended and all travellers must obtain travel insurance against cancellation or amendment fees. NOTE: Failure to arrive at your accommodation will be treated as a "no-show" and will incur the first night's charge - non pick up of vehicles,campervans and motorhomes and  no shows for pre booked  tours etc will all incur a 100% charge by the operators concerned.

 5. All cancellations must be made IN WRITING using one of the following methods:

When you contact us, we require two (2) of the following, so that we may efficiently process your request and reply to you:

 

Your Tiger Travel Booking reference no.

 

Email Address used in the booking

 

Name and Surname used in the booking

 

Name of the supplier concerned (eg;Maui Motorhomes, Heritage Hotel Auckland)

A Cancellation must be confirmed back to you by one of our consultants. If you have not received a confirmation of the cancellation within 24 hours after submission, it means we have not received it and you must resubmit it.

6. Any amendment advised to us within 5 days of your arrival date or once you have arrived at your accommodation may be treated as a late amendment by our supplier. Late amendments may be subject to a fee based on the Hotel's amendment policy, as advised to Tiger Travel. In this case each individual property/supplier will charge their own cancellation fees which Tiger Travel Ltd has no control over.

In order for us to ensure accuracy, we will only accept amendments IN WRITING . We will not accept amendments over the phone. Amendments can be submitted to us using one of the following methods:

Please try to give us as much notice as possible to allow for sufficient time to contact the supplier concerned and to issue the new documents. Please ensure that you check for emails on a regular basis if you have requested an amendment or cancellation.

An Amendment must be confirmed back to you by one of our consultants. If you have not received a confirmation of the amendment (a new  voucher) within 24 hours after submission, it means we have not received it and you must resubmit it.

If you require us to correspond with an email address that is not the one used in the original booking or the one via which the amendment was sent, please include the new details with the amendments required.

7. The client must submit a valid credit card when completing the credit card form. All care must be taken by the client to ensure that the information provided in the credit card form is correct. Tiger Travel Ltd takes no responsibility for any incorrect information submitted.

If the client wishes to alter the credit card after it has been charged , it will be treated as an amendment, but no fee will be charged if no new vouchers are issued.

8. The client must submit a valid email address on the Reservation Form. This email address will be used for all future correspondence relating to your booking. All care must be taken by the client to ensure that the information provided in the Reservation form is correct. It is the client's responsibility to advise Tiger Travel Ltd if an error in the email address was submitted on the Reservation Form or any other correspondence. Tiger Travel Ltd takes no responsibility for any incorrect information submitted.

9. Tiger Travel Ltd intends to provide you with all the services that you request from us. In rare cases, when it is not possible to confirm your reservation due to overbooking or other circumstances, we will endeavour to offer you an alternative of comparable price and standards. If this occurs, we will contact you via e-mail and request your authorisation to proceed with the new booking. Please ensure that you check for emails on a regular basis.

10. Disclaimer: Tiger Travel Ltd makes its best efforts to ensure that all the information that appears on its website is accurate. However, Tiger Travel Ltd does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions and reserves the right to change the information published at any time and without notice. All photos and information supplied on this website belong to our suppliers and the New Zealand government and are under copyright law.

11. Complaints: In the case of any problem or complaint, it is imperative that the client informs the supplier of the service concerned directly in order for them to rectify the problem.  Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Tiger Travel Ltd within 3 (THREE) DAYS of the end of the service provided. A copy of the complaint must  also be submitted to and signed by the supplier manager. If a client fails to follow this procedure this may hinder the ability of Tiger Travel Ltd to rectify the complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim the client may have.

12. Website Information: All information that is published on the website is current and is subject to change without notice. Tiger Travel Ltd (or our supplier)has visited the majority of its featured properties and every effort has been made to describe each property as accurately as possible with information supplied to us by each property concerned. However, Tiger Travel Ltd cannot accept responsibility for facilities, which are temporarily not available, are under renovation or not suited to individual tastes and preferences. Redecoration and maintenance is necessary to the upkeep of the properties concerned and may take place without prior warning, whilst the properties will endeavour to keep inconvenience to a minimum. The effects of normal wear and tear can be expected in a property and these are beyond our control. Tiger Travel Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance or inconvenience to the client nor for accidents in a property or a loss caused by property management or staff. Bookings made on this website are at the users own risk.

13. Tiger Travel Ltd does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use or connected with its website or for any products or services purchased from its website.

14. Tiger Travel Ltd makes no warranty or representation about the suitability of any product or service purchased by the user over this website.The liability of Tiger Travel Ltd shall not exceed NZ$50 for the product or service purchased by the Customer.
